Hello friends! It has been a while since we last talked. Darn COVID-19. Anyways hope you all are well. But if there is one thing that I have learned these past two weeks is that we need to have faith over fear. We cannot let our fears take control of our lives. We need to take back the fear and have faith to face and combat those fears. Thank you for coming to my mini TedTalk.

newsy.com is a news source bringing you short videos, about 1-2 minutes in length, that give you the latest news headlines without the arguments coming from debating news anchors, with hard evidence and statistics, and just giving you the news as is. With a national pandemic happening right now all over the world, it was no surprise that almost every single section the news stories were about the Coronavirus. Ranging in topics like Trump’s most recent response to the virus to how social media is the world’s only stage for entertainment now that all theatre’s, amusement parks, and other recreational places are closed.

Newsy was such a different site for me as I didn’t know it even existed before this class! The videos are short and simple and that was one thing that I enjoyed about it. It sucks that most of the videos are about COVID-19 but I guess there isn’t much else to talk about. Hope all is well with you!
